What is Sirr ?

Sirr is an online car rental platform that offers a seamless booking experience in 5 easy steps. Whether you are an individual trying to find the best car at the most affordable price for your family vacation, or you are looking for long term rental, multiple car rental, rental car with driver, etc. Sirr can meet your personalized needs.

Can I book a car without registering on the website?

You do not have to register on the Sirr rental platform to book your favorite car. Simply check out as a guest and enjoy the same booking experience. However, we do recommend our customers to create an account to receive amazing offers from our wide selection of cars from time to time.

How do I register on the Sirr website?

The first thing you need to do is to click on ‘register’. You will need to fill in some basic information like your name, contact information and upload pictures of your valid ID and driver’s license. For Saudi nationals and Iqama holders you need to be registered in Abshir . Your registration will be verified and confirmed by our services team and they will reach out with any follow up questions.

What is the age requirement for renting a car?

The minimum age is typically 21 years old but some car rental companies on the platform have a minimum age of 25 years.

How can I book a car?

You can easily book through the website by following the 5 steps identified below:
1. Choose the date and time of pickup and drop-off
2. Choose your preferred vehicle
3. Add insurance and extras as desired
4. Review the reservation details and press confirm
5. Choosing a payment method

When can I pick-up and drop-of the car?

The pick-up locations and drop-off locations are selected during the booking process. All available locations are in a drop-down list on the booking screen.
Pick-up time and Drop-off time for rental cars are based on your preference and the rental location’s office hours. This will be confirmed during the booking process on Sirr.

Can I return my rental car to a different location?

Yes, if the location is in the same city. A fee might be incurred if the location is in a different city.

What does the car rental cost cover?

The car rental cost typically covers the vehicle, daily mileage allowance of 300km, its maintenance, 24-hour roadside assistance and vehicle replacement in the event of a breakdown. Details are specific to the type of car and the car rental company that is selected.

In case, any additional services are selected, like child car seat, driver, extra mileage per day or pre-paid fuel, they will be assessed as additional charges during the rental process.

Can I get a chauffeur with the car?

Yes. Depending on the car and the rental company you choose, you can rent a car with a chauffeur

Can I add an additional driver to my rental car contract?

Yes. Please include the details of the additional driver when you are making the reservation.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash, debit and credit

Do I need to refuel the car before returning it?

No.
There will be two choices for refueling the car: 1. customers can return the car after filling the fuel tank to the same level as received during pick up. 2. customers can purchase a prepaid fuel option where a full tank of fuel will be charged during pickup and it allows the customer to return without caring about the fuel level.

Will the car rental include insurance?

Every car rented on Sirr needs to have an insurance coverage based on the customer’s selection and the individual coverage plan. On Sirr, we offer Standard Insurance and Full Insurance as options for most cars.

While comprehensive insurance isn’t included in the rental cost, there is third-party liability coverage, whereby an amount between SAR 1,500 and SAR 3,000 is charged (depending on the car group) in case the accident is deemed to be the driver’s fault. If the accident was not the client’s mistake, then there is no liability.

What happens if I get in an accident?

Your safety is our main concern, immediately contact 998 if you accompanied passengers, or third-party passengers are injured; if all parties are ok please call Najm @ 920000560 or reach out to our Contact Center Agents @ xxx. Once Najm arrives at the accident’s location and issues a report, please ensure that you are given a copy of the report from Najm’s Representative, then call our Contact Center Agents; we will take care of the rest and replace your vehicle.

Do renters pay deposit insurance when renting a car?

Some rental companies require a deposit to cover additional costs, if any, such as traffic violations, fuel fees, etc.
